OBJECTIVE:

Go Mortgages required a “Welcome Aboard” gift for clients who signed new mortgages.

STRATEGY:

CREATIVE created a gift basket, instead of an individual gift item, in order to maximize the impact for each recipient. We took the time and extra step to think about the recipients’ unwrapping experience, in order to increase the positive, long-lasting effect.    Each basket was kitted with multiple household items (two coffee mugs, an imprinted blanket, two water bottles in an insulated cooler basket).  Because we believe in the saying “you turn a product into a gift by adding packaging!” we wrapped each piece individually.

RESULTS:

The response was exceptional from the clients who received the baskets but the number of referrals that resulted from these gifts were also a benefit that Go Mortgages never expected.  Overall, this promotion surpassed its objective!
