Unique & Personalized Retirement Gift

OBJECTIVE:

A Police Inspector in B.C. was retiring and our agency was requested to provide a unique, personalized gift that was also a keepsake. This gift also needed to include a personalized letter on the product to recognize the recipient as well as include the ability to be shared with others.

STRATEGY:

We presented the idea of an oversized liquor Scotch Bottle with matching highball glasses. The front label of the bottle would be removed and replaced with a custom message for the recipient. It was determined that a 1.5L of Johnny Walker Blended Scotch was the recipient’s preferred liquor. We recommended the bottle and the two matching highball glasses be personalized with a deep etch, then filled with gold colour to match the original Johnny Walker branding on the bottle. We then activated our Creative Services Department with an artwork request and virtuals of the product with the special message. Then, following the approval, the product was ordered and delivered within 10 days.

RESULTS:

We received praise for this gift as well as a special thank you from the recipient for the personalization capabilities it provided.
