Signature Hat For Executives And Special Recipients
OBJECTIVE:
All Weather Windows requested a signature cap for the executives and marketing team to wear at events and in the public. They wanted a hat that they can be proud to wear.
STRATEGY:
This year we started with a classic Yupoong flat bill snapback in heathered grey and navy. The decoration plan was an embroidered patch on protwill navy material as it is a popular method of decoration in retail for this style of cap. This method also can be used to be a background instead of a layer of stitches.
We first approached our local expert embroidery house to confirm the design was feasible for embroidery as there are many small details in corporate logo. A stitch-out and a pre-production sample was produced for client’s approval to confirm color selections and quality outcome. Visits to the embroidery house to talk with the production staff was key in the positive outcome as the complicated design could be interpreted and digitized with several different methods of stitches.
RESULTS:
The client was thrilled to see the perfect pre-production sample and the group was excited to receive their order. A plan was formulated to create this hat each year with a different design and color scheme so that they become a collector’s item with limited quantity produced each year for very special recipients.
