Retractable Banners To Show The Spirit
Of The Vohon Ukrainian Dance Ensemble

OBJECTIVE:

Our client, the Vohon Ukrainian Dance Ensemble, needed two roll-up banners that conveyed the spirit and culture of their dance ensemble. The banners were to be used together or separately at festivals, performances, or other events. They requested photos that showcased not only the performance aspect of being in a dance ensemble, but also the behind-the-scenes moments, friendships, lasting bonds, and the spirit of Vohon, which they refer to as their “FIRE” (Vohon translates to “Fire” in Ukrainian).

STRATEGY:

We chose banners that are easy to use and can be quickly set up and taken down at any event. Our Graphic Designer, Briana, who is also a dancer with the Vohon Ukrainian Dance Ensemble, created the designs for the banners. The goal was to have the designs either complement or mirror each other, while still being strong enough to stand on their own. The main photos on the banners showcased the performances or on-stage moments, while the surrounding photos depicted the behind-the-scenes and overall culture and spirit of the dance ensemble.

RESULTS:

The client was thrilled with the design and how it captured the true spirit of the dance ensemble. When displayed at a recent festival, they received many compliments on the banners’ design and the unique perspective that the banners portrayed.
