Oven Mitts As Unique Giveaway Products

OBJECTIVE:

The University of Alberta, Office of Alumni Relations, was looking for a unique giveaway item to add to their stock of giveaway items. They hoped for a versatile, functional kitchen-themed item and, ultimately, set their mind on oven mitts. The challenge? They wish to imprint this oven mitt with their full-colour logo to match their new brand identity.

STRATEGY:

As you can see from the image above, the full-colour UA logo is highly detailed and complex. We have begun to explore various decorating options, and the goal is to maintain the logo’s integrity while not compromising the material on the oven mitt’s silicone surface. After careful consideration, heat transfer would be the most suitable option for our requirements.

RESULTS:

As expected, the UA full-colour logo is printed precisely and vibrantly on the silicone surface. Also, the Office of Alumni Relations decided to purchase another version of oven mitts made from polyester instead of silicone. Fortunately, heat transfer can be applied to a wide range of surfaces, and the result is just as stunning as before.
