Original Gift Idea With A Quick Turnaround
OBJECTIVE:
Our team was tasked with a challenging yet manageable situation with a special request from one of our clients, finding an original gift idea with a quick turnaround. They approached us on a Monday morning with the requirement of having an original gift for their Friday event, four working days away. Additionally, this gift needed to be something the recipient would love and required personalization.
STRATEGY:
We presented the idea of a liquor bottle that could have the front label removed for a deep etch colour-fill imprint. We discovered that Jack Daniels was the recipient’s favourite liquor and if we had enough time to personalize it with an imprint, this would make the perfect gift! Therefore, we quickly contacted our preferred vendor for a huge favour and determined we had enough time to complete this project. Then, our Creative Services department created a virtual of the product and had it approved by the client to proceed quickly. Following the approval, the product was ordered and delivered on Friday afternoon. We even took the extra step of delivering it to our client’s home.
RESULTS:
We received a glowing report from the recipient that the product we produced was a huge hit at their 50th birthday party.
