Music Festival Swag

OBJECTIVE:

The Raven Wood Experience was Sherwood Park’s inaugural music festival held July 19-20 at Broadmoor Lake Park. CREATIVE was not only a sponsor of this amazing event, but we provided the volunteer t-shirts and festival merchandise that patrons could purchase. Since this was the first year for the event, the organizers were looking for inexpensive and practical items that festival-goers could use long after the event.

STRATEGY:

The guitar-shaped bottle opener keychains were a perfect fit. Their sleek black style and guitar shape make a great addition to any set of keys for music lovers. The white bandana is a versatile item that can be styled in a variety of ways, and the water bottle kept everyone hydrated and looking sharp. The logo on the pieces allow for the items to be recycled for next year’s event, in addition to adding new, fresh selections.

RESULTS:

The Raven Wood Experience was a great success, featuring musical groups such as Captain Tractor, Shred Kelly, and the McDades. The weather wasn’t the most favourable, but the tent provided shelter from the elements. The artisan market also provided a local shopping atmosphere for handmade vendors to gain exposure. The merchandise went over well, and many people are excited to promote this annual event. The volunteers were easy to spot in their bright purple t-shirts, which are the perfect keepsake to commemorate the Raven Wood Experience.
