Launching A New Brand

OBJECTIVE:

After 60+ years of being known as Richard McDonald & Associates (RMA) and 20+ years as going by WOW Lighting, it was time to take the next evolutionary step towards a NEW, REFRESHING logo/brand name. The new brand of Wow Lighting and Controls was born with a clean, distinct and vibrant look. Wow Lighting and Controls invested substantial time and resources into a new revolutionary location to coincide with the new brand. Therefore, not only did the branding materials chosen need to launch the new brand properly and professionally to its market place, they also needed to be harmonious with the look and feel of this beautiful new space.

STRATEGY:

To carefully and intelligently select promotional products that not only allowed Wow Lighting’s new logo to be professionally introduced, but would also bring the WOW Lighting and Controls BRAND TO LIFE. The new brand was launched in two phases.

The first phase was internally with branded merchandise for the team members. It was very important to the principles of this company to ensure that the staff felt 100% engaged with the transition. A variety of different garments and tools were purchased to make certain that the employees felt ownership and commitment to the new brand.

The second phase was an Open House Event to introduce the new brand and Inspiration Center to their current clients, prospective clients, as well as, other industry professionals. In preparation for their Open House Event, we hand-picked products that would highlight the brand throughout the different areas in the building to be sure that the new logo was visible in all workspaces and social areas.

RESULTS:

The objective of professionally introducing the NEW Wow Lighting logo/brand to their market place was achieved; and in fact was surpassed by not only the comments and feedback of the prospects and clients who attended, but also by the increase of sales following their event.
