Best of Both Worlds! Subtle And Noticeable.
OBJECTIVE:
The combination of embroidery and full-colour heat transfer on a jacket is both feasible and effective. This approach is exemplified in the wearable project for the Fred Otto DiscoverE Program at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Engineering. The client seeks to prominently display their logo as a staff identifier and to include their mascot, a beaver, to enhance the jacket’s distinctiveness.
STRATEGY:
The Flint Lightweight Jacket is ideal for this initiative due to its smooth polyester surface, which supports high-quality embroidery and heat transfer. The embroidered logo is placed on the left chest area for visibility and durability, while the heat transfer allows for a wide range of colours for the mascot design.
RESULTS:
Matching jackets foster a sense of belonging and team pride, essential for school camps and educational programs like DiscoverE that prioritize collaboration, leadership, and engineering.
