Holiday Sweatshirts For A
Radio Station Charity Fundraiser
OBJECTIVE:
During the Christmas season, Ryder & Lisa, announcers with Play107, had an idea to sell sweaters featuring Lisa’s catchphrase “Tiz the Siz”. Donating all the proceeds raised to the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton, which provides festive meals to Edmonton families, seniors, and individuals in need. They needed a platform to feature these items, accommodate online orders, and collect payment.
STRATEGY:
CREATIVE built an online Pop-Up Store that displayed the “Tiz the Siz” holiday sweaters, accommodated the online ordering process, and collected secure payments. The store was accessible through email and Facebook communication to the general public and Play107 staff. It was open for a few weeks leading up to the Christmas holidays.
RESULTS:
The store successfully brought attention to the initiative, the sweaters being offered, and the great cause it was supporting. The product was well received and the online store was able to meet all the needs including online order processing, payment collection, and organized fulfillment and distribution of the items. Plus a wonderful cheque was given to the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton. Win-Win-Win for everyone involved!
