Curling Coins Sponsorship

OBJECTIVE:

Our company had the opportunity to sponsor a curling league.  We were asked to provide a promotional product that was unique and it also needed to provide value to the curling community.

STRATEGY:

We designed and created a die-cut custom coin for 3rds to use before the game.  Often curlers are in search of a coin to flip for the hammer and CREATIVE provided a simple way for curlers to determine who plays first.  We additionally sponsored the double board for teams that make a successful double takeout.  We did this by cleverly creating a Double Board, Double Your Reward promotion.  This 1 1/4″ coin was created with a “WIN” on one side and “pick your weapon colour” on the other side to make it easy for teams to start their game.

RESULTS:

Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.  Teams are excited to win the double board with this incentive.
