Canadian Rail Research Laboratory
Conference Gifts
OBJECTIVE:
Our client, the University of Alberta Geotechnical Centre, wanted to provide on-the-go railway engineers with gifts that would be practical and easy to pack while highlighting the CaRRL conference theme “Climate Change: Resiliency through Innovation.”
STRATEGY:
The selection of conference giveaways to represent the theme of sustainability and technology was a crucial aspect of our planning process. The design of the conference banner prominently features a railway track, and we sought to incorporate this motif into our selection of giveaway items. After careful consideration, we selected the PowerTag Bluetooth tracker as a symbol of technological advancement and innovation. At the same time, the ECO Cotton Canvas tote and Recycled Aluminum LED Flashlight were chosen as emblems of environmental responsibility and sustainability.
RESULTS:
The client loved how these items aligned with their attendees’ passions and shared commitment to sustainability, highlighting the importance of using technology for environmental stewardship.
