Tool Gift Set To Generate New Sales

OBJECTIVE:

A large agricultural company required gifts for dealers to drive new sales of their seed corn product line.  They requested a high quality gift set for a typically male audience which included clever and classy packaging and a printed romance card which could provide additional sales related information.

STRATEGY:

A 3 piece tool set was selected, which included a knife, a pair of pliers, and a flashlight for its’ usefulness and portability in a truck or tractor. An insert card was created for the gift box which allow the addition of the company’s slogan: “CHOOSE THE RIGHT TOOL. GET THE BEST RESULTS!” The insert card allowed the ability to provide more marketing information about two types of seeds on the back side.

RESULTS:

The gift and the gift box were a tremendous success.  Growth in seed sales were achieved as a result of this promotion.
