Non-Profit Organization Website
With Functionality And Branding Style

OBJECTIVE:

Our client needed to rebuild their website to fully demonstrate the scope of their services and programs. The main goal of the website was to be accessible, mobile-friendly, functional both for their audience and their staff, and modern in style.

STRATEGY:

Because we already worked with this client on previous projects, we were very familiar with the challenges they faced regarding their old website. We started the web development with a full list of improvements that would help streamline the traffic movement through all website pages and help their staff with backend processes. We incorporated a mega menu instead of a traditional dropdown menu, to help with easy site navigation. We worked with the client and their program administrators to create written page content and created clear and concise program descriptions. All content was written with SEO best practices in mind and additional on-page SEO was built into the website to ensure it all creates a positive step in EmployAbilities’ digital footprint and its ranking on search engines. The visuals throughout the website were carefully selected from those provided by the client and supplemented by stock photos and further edited to meet the brand standards.

RESULTS:

The website is now easy to use, and informative for both future program participants and employer partners, which are the secondary audience. We monitor the website’s performance on a weekly and monthly basis and keep making adjustments as needed. The staff and program administrators now have a streamlined funnel for gathering program participants and can easily request any changes that are needed. From a static and hard-to-use old website, this website transformed into a functioning online presence that our client is extremely happy with.
