Mini-Site For An Indigenous Empowerment Initiative
OBJECTIVE:
Our client needed a mini-site specifically designed for one of their initiatives, Rise Up: Take A Stand, focused on empowering Indigenous youth.
STRATEGY:
The most important requirement was that all of the site’s content had to reside on one page only and be easily navigated by scrolling up and down on mobile devices. That was because the main target audience is youth who mostly seek information on their phones. We collaborated with several team members from the ANFCA team to ensure that everyone’s needs and ideas were incorporated. We utilized their existing brand colours and patterns from their initiative’s package to ensure consistency in design and branding. Although all of the content is on one page, we built a full menu for easy navigation and jumping between the sections without loading another page!
RESULTS:
The result was a fun mini-site that’s accessible and easily navigated and contained all information needed to promote this very important program. The client is now very happy that they have this tool to share the information and resources regarding the Rise Up initiative. Mini-sites like this help streamline processes by eliminating sending out program information as it’s requested; the client now only needs to send out a link to educate their audience about all the details of this initiative.
