OBJECTIVE:

Generate additional business to achieve projected annual growth targets of 8%. This increase would rely on a themed sales contest with monthly grand prizes.

STRATEGY:

Each broker that sold Peace Hills insurance products received a treasure chest, which includes 5-10 copies of a customized antique world map, with the official rules of the contest on the back. Each broker was allowed one entry automatically through the website. An introductory letter rolled up as a scroll from the “Captain”  (president of the company), explaining the point of the contest. There were a total of 300 treasure chests distributed, and an approximation of 900 insurance employees exposed to the contest.

RESULTS:

New business growth has increased by approximately 50% compared to last year sales! Website hits 1450 since contest began!
