SWAT, which stands for South West Area Two, is a Hockey Association (Not For Profit) looking to refresh its logo and improve its image within Hockey Alberta.
Through the discovery process with their team administrators, our designers learned that a new logo was required to showcase that SWAT was a hockey association. The new logo needed to represent area two, include the word hockey and utilize images of quintessential hockey equipment. We used two stars, to symbolize area two, the mesh of hockey nets and added two hockey sticks and a puck.
The result was a simple yet relevant and impactful logo that personified strength and class. Once the new logo was created, we completed the brand look and supported the use of it on all jerseys, communication materials and their new website. The hockey association and the parent groups love the final design!
