Project Description

Alberta Treaty 8 Trappers Association

Cultural Events Swag

OBJECTIVE:

Alberta Treaty 8 Trappers Association has the authority for administering, managing and ensuring that Indigenous trappers in the Treaty 8 territory can preserve their historical traplines.
The society contacted us for new SWAG to use throughout the year at cultural and community events, such as their Youth Cultural camps.

STRATEGY:

The highlighter pens, mobile tech earbud kits with a cleaning cloth, and USB slap bracelets were distributed at their Youth Cultural camps. These were a great choice to promote the association with the Indigenous youth with useful items for this tech-savvy generation. A favorite amongst recipients has been the super-soft Bizzie Beaver plush. This cutie is the perfect keepsake to share with the society’s long-time employees and to include in gift bags. Even though the mushroom speakers and the sweatshirt hoodie blankets have not been officially shared yet, it hasn’t stopped staff in their office from checking them out with heart-shaped eyes!

RESULTS:

All in all, these fun and memorable items have been a big hit with the association’s members, staff, and cultural event participants.
Even the team here at CREATIVE couldn’t steer their gaze away from the adorable Bizzie Beavers and the super cozy sweatshirt hoodie blankets, our personal favorites!
