Coordinating Branded Cookies

OBJECTIVE:
Sanrio Co. was working on a cross-country holiday activation for their new line of Hello Kitty shoes by Converse. They had a fully branded food truck driving to different cities selling the shoes and ‘Hello Kitty Café’ items, which they needed some cute edible pieces for.
STRATEGY:
The production of 6 different cookie designs of the different characters were offered, including a cookie in the shape of the Hello Kitty head. The cookies were fully branded with Sanrio retail packaging. To ensure they had fresh cookies in each city the truck was driving to, coordinating dates to stagger the production and shipping was implemented.
RESULTS:
The truck (and cookies) were widely shared all over social media and the campaign was a great success!
