Dear Friends,
Ned’s Wish is a society dedicated to improving the quality of life of retired police dogs. After human police officers finish serving their communities, their pension sees them through retirement. There is no such support for their K-9 partners and that’s where Ned’s Wish comes in. We raise funds to offset the cost of veterinary care for retired police dogs and we help ensure these retired heroes have every chance to enjoy a well-deserved retirement.
Our dedicated volunteers fundraise throughout the year to meet the ongoing needs of our canine compadres and we need your help to continue fulfilling Ned’s wish!
We are holding an online fundraiser, the Midsummer Ned’s Wish 2021 Silent Auction, starting on July 11, 2021, from our website. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to go towards medical costs for our retired heroes in 2021.
We are relying on donated items to help us keep our costs low while also promoting our generous donors’ businesses.
Would you consider donating an item or service to the Ned’s Wish 2021 Silent Auction?
Our guidelines for donated items are:
- The market value of the item should be greater than $25.00;
- Items and should be deliverable or collected in-store;
- Businesses are encouraged to provide a short description or promotional write-up if they wish, and items should be accompanied by proof of value;
- A receipt in kind for the donation can be provided by Ned’s Wish if requested;
We have a number of trusted volunteers soliciting donations for the auction, so if you have merchandise or an item that you wish to donate please let your volunteer know, or reply to melissa.s@nedswish.com at your earliest convenience and we will be in touch within 2 days to discuss your contribution!
