Promotional Products Marketing Assistant - Full-time Position

POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this role is to build, maintain and grow PROMOTIONAL AND DIGITAL MARKETING BUSINESS using our effective growth formula.
Your main responsibility will be to support a team of consultants who sell promotional products. NOTE: This position is full-time, but you control your schedule…even around your kids. Meaning you can work from anywhere when required. The team here at CREATIVE is located on the south side of Edmonton at 9181-25 Ave.
What you’ll be doing…
Day-to-day, you’ll be supporting a team, creating proposals, and pitching our products and services, there may be some kitting or fulfillment duties…every day will be FUN and different!
As part of this opportunity, you’ll also be a part of a VERY fast-paced and high-growth company. You’re getting in on the ground floor of an experienced but growing sales team and will have input and responsibility as we grow the team. Tuesday’s sales meeting is mandatory but will provide the tools you need to do your job. The rest of your position is highly flexible.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- A marketing diploma or degree
- At least 1 year in some sales capacity
- Sales process experience
- Proposal creation experience
Preferred:
- At least 2 years of high-performance experience in marketing or sales
- Worked with a digital marketing agency or a promotional products company previously
- Basic math and accounting experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Create proposals for prospects and clients in PowerPoint or word
- Seeking and gathering information, pricing, pictures and descriptions of products and services from vendors for the purpose of creating proposals
- Review and verify vendor information and pricing for purchase order accuracy before ordering
- Coordinate with various departments to resolve discrepancies and close orders
- Submit, review & orders products when an order is placed on a work order sheet
- Respond to enquiries from prospects and clients in a timely manner
- Collaborate & problem solve successfully with internal teams
- Assist internal Sales Team by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Support of fulfillment projects which may require some unpacking, packing and shipping of products for large project orders
- Daily support of the program department by picking and packing of web orders
- Supporting our digital team by helping create assets required to promote our creative services (gathering information for a landing page, content creation when required, photo gathering and editing of draft pages)
- Participating in PK’s (Product Knowledge) meetings where vendors share information about their products and services
- Participating in trade shows related to learning about promotional products and services
- You are a leader without title. Being a kind, hard working and dedicated worker is required. There may be activities outside of the duties above which are not listed but will simply fall under being a supportive co-worker.

THE PAY:
SIGNING BONUS OFFER for experienced promotional consultants (worked with a promotional products company before)! How much, just ask, you’ll be very surprised!
Wage to start with increases based on skill set and experience. Starting at $18 to $23 per hour (depending on experience).
